Experience the elegance of Laurina, a rare and highly prized variety grown with great dedication by Felipe Arcila on his Jardines del Edén farm. Known for its extremely low caffeine content (only 0.5%), this unique Arabica variety is genetically related to the Bourbon variety. Its short stature and conical shape, similar to a Christmas tree, make it stand out from the crowd and even more so when it comes to taste. The Laurina grows at an altitude of 1 750 metres, under ideal conditions with an annual rainfall of between 1 900 and 2 200 mm. After harvesting, the fruit undergoes a 24-hour dry aerobic fermentation, after which it is stored in Grainpro bags for 50 hours at a temperature below 22 °C. It is dried on raised beds for approximately 190 hours until it reaches the desired humidity of 11 %, which allows the aromas to develop to the highest degree. In the cup, Laurina delights with subtle and delicate notes of lavender, lemongrass, vanilla and fresh limes.
