About us
Flying, coffee and dreams
Our love for flying and coffee brought us together in beautiful Qatar, where we worked as cabin crew for the same airline. Our conversations in Doha crossed many topics, but coffee was always at the forefront, even though Toni didn't particularly like it before.
We often imagined what it would be like to have our own cute café, where conversations between visitors would take place as easily as ours did while walking around the city. Although this dream café is still on the horizon, together we have taken the first steps with the Lau Café online shop.
Laura's deep connection to Colombia is what gives each bean we source a piece of her homeland - her tradition, her care and her love for coffee.
Our aim is to show the diversity of Colombia through a cup of coffee, because just as each of us has a unique story, so does each coffee bean.
Sourcing
For us, every sip of coffee is a story of the people and places it comes from. Our selection always includes a mix of classic flavors and experimental lots, so everyone can find something they enjoy, while also having the chance to try something new and different.
Roasting
Coffee is a dynamic process that we explore with every new roasting profile. With light roasting, we preserve the freshness and complexity of the flavors in each bean. This approach maintains the coffee's original character while uncovering new layers of flavor through precise roasting adjustments.
